Job Description Overview:

The Brand Director will drive the brand planning function and champion cross functional alignment, overseeing brand messaging, product marketing and omni campaign creation in partnership with the innovation team.

The Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand strategy and driving growth for Fit Crunch. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of marketing initiatives that resonate with our target audience and drive brand awareness, loyalty, and revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes within the CPG sector.

Job Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development:

  • Own and drive brand calendar planning and messaging strategy, delivering on the annual marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth within the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and finance to ensure alignment of brand strategies with business goals.

Brand Identity and Communication:

  • Define and maintain the brand identity, including brand messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice.
  • Ensure consistency in brand communication across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Develop brand guidelines and standards to safeguard brand integrity and consistency.

Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives:

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Utilize consumer insights, market research, and data analytics to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  • Oversee creative development, media planning, and execution of advertising and promotional activities across various channels (digital, social, traditional, etc.).

Product Portfolio Management:

  • Manage the brand portfolio, including product positioning and SKU rationalization.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and expansion in partnership with the innovation team.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and brand positioning.

Brand Performance Analysis:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Analyze data, market research, and consumer feedback to evaluate brand performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in brand management or marketing roles within the CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and marketing analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for building and growing brands.
