Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of E-Commerce to lead and scale our Amazon and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. This senior-level role will be responsible for setting the long-term vision, driving digital revenue growth, and overseeing all aspects of the e-commerce ecosystem, including platform operations, marketing strategy, customer experience, and analytics.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of both Amazon and DTC, has a proven track record of driving performance at scale, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Amazon and DTC e-commerce channels aligned with overall business goals and growth targets.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for Amazon and DTC platforms, optimizing for revenue, margin, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the internal expert on Amazon trends, algorithm changes, and best practices—ensuring proactive adaptation and continued sales acceleration.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market dynamics to maintain a strong advantage.


Channel Management:

  • Oversee marketplace and e-commerce operations including product listings, SEO/SEM, content strategy, customer acquisition, advertising campaigns, promotions, and retention programs.
  • Manage relationships with key online retail partners (e.g., Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com).
  • Coordinate with third-party fulfillment providers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform strategy and improve forecasting and demand planning.


Analytics & Reporting:

  • Leverage advanced analytics to interpret performance data, customer behavior, and market trends to inform strategic decisions and unlock growth opportunities.


Cross-functional Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams and external agency partners across marketing, operations, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and product teams to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory management, and fulfillment execution.
  • Present regular performance updates and strategic plans to executive leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or retail overseeing both Amazon and DTC channels.
  • Strong command of Amazon Seller and/or Vendor Central, Shopify, analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Looker, or similar), and digital performance tools.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing levers including SEO, paid media (Amazon Ads, Google, Meta), CRM, and affiliate.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasting revenue.
