Job Description Overview:

The Pure Protein Associate Brand Manager will help lead our next chapter of growth by assisting in the development and execution of brand strategy and innovations to drive sales and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercialization of innovation projects, partnering with cross functional teams to build best-in-class products with launch plans that ensure in-market success
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for new items in the Pure Protein portfolio
  • Lead packaging artwork process for new items and product renovations
  • Partner with consumer insights team to design and implement studies to inform brand and innovation priorities within the Pure Protein portfolio
  • Oversee Pure Protein organic social strategy and content, briefing internal and external partners for asset development where needed
  • Support building breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns with emphasis on digital, social media, and in-store execution
  • Assist in portfolio performance optimization and management of product assortment to maximize profit
  • Manage brand marketing budget successfully and accurately, including monthly reconciliation with finance team
  • Consistently monitor external category and competitive market dynamics to inform marketing plans and growth priorities

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA optional
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management with proven success driving complex projects forward
  • Proven ability to analyze the business and develop strategies and programs that have driven business results
  • Understanding the concepts of full product development and innovation philosophy
  • Consumer-first mindset in developing brand communication strategies
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships, establish trust & credibility and inspire across all levels of leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to get things done in a complex system, with powerful sense of ownership and accountability
  • Attention to detail, balanced with an ability to prioritize issues and propose solutions to new and complex situations
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
  • Experience with IRI, Nielsen and Syndicated Retailer Data ideal
  • Effective communication skills
